In October, the Culture Club took advantage of a great deal on tickets to the Van Morrison/Tom Jones concert at the Hollywood Bowl. Though most of us were very familiar with the music of both, it was Tom Jones who wowed us at the event. In his mid-seventies, the man still has an amazing voice and vibrance. Van Morrison wasn’t as spectacular, but his smooth and familiar tunes left us all very glad that we came, despite managing our way through some treacherous LA traffic to get there.
