Each of us has our own reasons for making the commitment to the Avon Walk.  Most of us have loved ones or friends who have fought, winning or losing, with this vicious disease. One member of our team went up against breast cancer and won. Astonishingly often, our lives are impacted by someone we know who receives the devastating news that they have cancer – of any kind. We walk in their honor…in their memory…for their battle and its consequences.  On each of our walks, we wear ribbons with the names of those women (and men) who have battled against any cancer.
